Introduction To DTP:
In Digital Design Class we learnt how to upload images on a CD cover. So in this blog, I will put my prior knowledge with the new things I learnt in Microsoft Publisher and show you how to make your own CD cover with steps.
Over here, below are the steps in order to make your CD cover:
STEPS:
Step 1: Go to Microsoft Publisher.
Step 2: Type in "CD" on the search bar of MSP (Microsoft Publisher).
Step 3: Select a CD cover template.
Step 4: Select a circular shape and put it onto the the border of the CD cover.
Step 5: Then select the circular shape again and put it onto the inside part of the circle of the CD cover.
Step 6: Choose an image.
Step 7: Right click the image.
Step 8 : Click on save image as.
Step 9: Go to MSP and select the picture by pressing the small image icon you will see on the bar.
Step 10: Then when you have selected the photo click upload.
Step 11: Place the photo in the CD cover area.
Step 11: Add in any more pictures you want.
Step 12: Fit the pictures within the CD cover area.
Step 13: If the borders of your CD cover are covered with the pictures, click on the borders and fix them back.
Step 14: If the middle of your CD cover is filled with an image, select a circular shape and place it in the middle. Shade the circular shape white.
Step 15: Save your CD cover by clicking file then save as. Select an area to save your CD cover and click on the button "Save".
Step 16: Your CD cover is now complete. Enjoy!
This is an Example of a CD cover that I have made using Microsoft Publisher:
MY REFLECTION:
Last week, during Digital Design Class, I learnt some new skills like learning how to snip from the snipping tool and also how to upload images on blogs. I also learnt how to use Microsoft Publisher much more better than before.
